Welcome to Sia563.
Our goal with Sia563 is to build something genuinely different from what has become common in the RuneScape private server scene.
Sia563 runs Revision 563 content from September 2009 — including maps, models, items, NPCs, interfaces, and other assets — on top of a heavily optimized and expanded Revision 289 (2005) game engine. The engine has been extensively reworked to properly support the later revision content while maintaining the foundation and feel of an older RuneScape client.
Why Sia563?
We have grown tired of seeing the same recycled servers, copy-and-paste projects, and OSRS clones repeatedly dominating toplists.
We have been playing RuneScape since its early days and have been involved with RuneScape private servers since the scene first began. Over the years, we have watched RSPS communities grow, change, disappear, and start again. We have played countless servers, worked on private servers ourselves, and seen firsthand what kept players interested — and what caused otherwise promising projects to fail.
Sia563 is our attempt to take everything we have learned over those years and use it to create an experience that stands on its own.
We are not starting this project to release something half-finished, disappear after a few months, or abandon it when development becomes difficult. Sia563 is a long-term project. We are here to stay, and we intend to hold the server to a very high standard throughout development and beyond release.
What can you expect?
Sia563 will combine recognizable 2009-era RuneScape content with original ideas, custom areas, new activities, and features that are rarely seen on modern private servers.
Some of the content currently planned or being developed includes:
Living Rock Caverns — including Rocktail fishing and concentrated ore mining
The original Corporeal Beast
Stealing Creation
Fist of Guthix
Grand Exchange
New towns and cities
Custom minigames
Unique events
And much more as development continues
We want exploration to matter again. We want players to discover things they haven't already seen on dozens of other servers, while still keeping the RuneScape atmosphere that made this era so memorable.
Follow the Development
Development is active and updates will be posted consistently.
We encourage everyone interested in Sia563 to create a forum account and follow the project as it progresses.
As a thank-you to those supporting us early, all early registrants will receive an exclusive cosmetic item when Sia563 releases. Once the early-registration period ends, that cosmetic will never be obtainable again.
You should also join our Discord server, where we will often post smaller updates, previews, screenshots, development progress, and announcements before they make their way onto the website.
We appreciate everyone who chooses to follow Sia563 from the beginning. We have a lot planned, and we're looking forward to showing you what we've been working on.
Welcome to Sia563.
